SEASON 2 - September 2023 - december 2023

S2.3 Radiate Presents

Home for the Holidays

Homesick, Donna dada, Captivate, Radiate Crew & malina

Friday, December 22, 2023

Venue: The Blox
Production: Fabian Liebrand
Sound: Polite Sound

Thank you for all the support for the Radiate project this year—we love our community! To finish out the year (and our second season) in style, we have a little gift just for you. On Friday December 22, Radiate is bringing together a gathering of formerly local DJs to the Blox Arts Centre. We’re calling it “Home for the Holidays”, and we hope to rise to the top of your party priorities this season.

There’s the multidisciplinary mischief-maker Homesick, who will be back to visit us, having taken his talents to Montréal; the incomparable pillar of the Calgary scene, Donna Dada, who left for her studies to Ontario until her career brought her to Vancouver; and mountain boy gone coastal, Captivate, whose standout 2023 Bass Coast set showcased what an all-around monster he is as a producer and DJ. Local support from up-and-coming leftfield bass DJ Malina and the Radiate squad rounds out the bill.

Our beloved peer support team will again be roaming the space to look out for all of us, and Polite Sound, Radiate crew and Fabian Liebrand will be pushing new light, design, sound and projection concepts forward.

We want to acknowledge that the land Radiate hosts events on is in Treaty 7 territory and that this area is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III. Please check out our website before the event to review our [LINK] Code of Conduct and [LINK] Policies. Tickets are available exclusively from www.radiateyyc.com, and early bird $20 tickets will be available until December 5! Pick one up for everyone on your list.

S2.2 Radiate & 403DNB Present

Origins w/ Sully

Friday, November 17th, 2023

Venue: Secret Location

Radiate and 403DNB are joining forces on Saturday November 17 to bring you an ambitious, forward-thinking lineup that promises to be equal parts jungle rinse-out and notebook raver's paradise.

Long before the UK garage revival kicked in, Sully began finding a space between 2-step’s swing, dubstep’s edge and breakstep’s drums, all underpinned by the rude spirit of jungle. The stage will be set for him by the inimitable Vancouver duo Vasho and Bronwyn going B2B, while local support from 403DNB’s own Strange Manner as well as Yungkamaji and OpenEnd rounding out the bill.

Event location is a private studio located just outside of downtown, exact location will be revealed to ticket holders only (week of November 13). Please check out our website before the night to review our Code of Conduct and Policies, and stay tuned for more updates to the safer spaces and harm reduction information featured there.
