ACCESSIBILITY

  • Our event is located at The Hive Studio - 5524 1A St SW, #4 – close to 39th Avenue LRT station.

  • This venue is wheelchair accessible

  • If you require wheelchair access, the front entrance is accessible - you can let us know in advance (radiateyyc@gmail.com) or when you arrive that you require this entrance

  • We will keep the back entrance shoveled in snowy weather

  • There is one wheelchair accessible washroom located on the second floor of the building the event space is located in, elevator access available on request

  • Earplugs are provided (Find them at the Merch Booth near the front entrance.

  • A chill space with reduced sensory input is provided

  • We welcome attendees who do and don’t consume alcohol or substances - any pressure regarding substance use will be addressed, so please let the Peer Support team know if you experience this

  • Tasty non-alcoholic drink options are available

PROTECTIVE SPACES

    • For information on our Peer Support team and text support line

    • For information about behaviour we encourage and behaviour we will be addressing

  • Artists and attendees with present concerns or unmitigated histories of actions that are not conducive for safer spaces at our events will not be welcome

  • Harm reduction and safer sex supplies will be available

  • Free covered water will be provided

  • Fire extinguishers are placed in three locations in the space

    • The muster point is out back out the main fire exit door on the dance floor

  • We will have a first aid kit, bag valve mask, airways and AED and trained responders

  • We ask that all attendees keep phone use and photography to a minimum

    • Please obtain clear consent before taking a photo of anyone

  • Photos taken by the Radiate production team will not include any identifiable images of attendees; however, if you wish to have a photo deleted after it is taken at the event by our production team or deleted from social media after the event please reach out to us at radiateyyc@gmail.com
